Chicken Pesto Pasta
This is a simple easy pasta dish. This delicious dish consists of chicken, noodles, and a basil pesto sauce.
This is another one of our favorites. This is a go to for us on a weeknight because it can be put together in under 30 minutes and only uses a few ingredients.
Start by cutting chicken breasts into bite size pieces and sautéing in a pan on medium high heat with garlic, salt, pepper, and butter until done. While this is cooking start boiling water in a pot to cook your noodles.
Once the chicken is fully cooked add heavy cream, pesto, and parmesan cheese and cook on low heat until the sauce thickens. Add noodles to the boiling water and cook until al dente.
Once the sauce is thickened and the pasta has finished cooking add the noodles to the sauce and stir together. Now dish the pasta up and top with parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 box of penne noodles
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/3 cup basil pesto
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic
Recipe
- Cut chicken into bite size pieces and sauté on medium high heat with butter and garlic.
- Boil water to cook noodles.
- Add heavy cream, pesto, and parmesan cheese to the chicken and reduce heat to low allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Add noodles to boiling water and cook until al dente.
- Add cooked noodles to sauce and stir together.
- Top with parmesan cheese and enjoy.
